St. Stephen's Green

St.Stephen's Green is a gorgeous park. It has 22 acres and a band stand which occupies bands in the summer. It is still green in the dead of winter and I cannot wait to update photos when it blooms in Spring. As you can see people of all ages try to feed the pigeons and ducks in the park.

  1. The last photo is very beautiful. i really like the contrast and especially the low intensity of the colors. Indeed i find that this saturation highlights the whiteness of the pigeon which is flapping its wings and which decides to pay attention to the child whereas all the others are turning their back to him while they're walking far from him.
i also like the kid's posture with the luminosity on his face (as the pigeon i mentionned). the fact that he's reaching out towards the one which is not wary shows their real willingness to comunicate eachother because he had the desire of leaving his stroller. Instead of the nokia advertising 'connecting people', it should be 'connecting living beings' ;-)
Finally in the previous picture whose the main character is an old man, the pigeons are pouncing on the man and are very close to him (whatsoever the spatial distance and the relationship aspects). So does it take an entire life to build ties, make connectons to others as would suggest my interpretation of those two photographs ?

I hope that you'll understand my english ^^ anyway, we could have the opportunity to discuss about that.

This interpretation is certainly boring :( but last time you told me that it was necessary for me to say what i thought; my mind , so that's what i'm doing.

    Cheers, Baptiste
